Fox Design's college prospectus wins marketing award
FOX DESIGN CONSULTANTS is pleased to announce that its 2003 People Like Us
Prospectus for Falmouth College of Arts has won an award in HEISTs annual
Education Marketing Awards scheme, in recognition of leading prospectus
design within the Higher Education sector. The Prospectus beat off stiff
competition from a number of well-established universities.
HEIST is the UKs leading educational marketing agency and encourages
excellence in the marketing of universities and colleges throughout the UK.
The aspects of the Prospectus that particularly caught the attention of the
judges were the simplicity and power of the front cover, the emphasis on
location, some of the best photography they had ever seen, stunning course
spreads, the use of colour, the integration of student work and the care
that had been taken in the copywriting.
Fox Design Consultants' principal, Val Fox, was delighted to have won the
award. She said "Falmouth College has one of the strongest reputations
outside London for its arts courses so we were particularly pleased to be
given the chance of showing what the staff and students can do."
Falmouth College of Arts Public Relations Officer, Jilly Easterby, who
project managed and edited the publication, said "This project demonstrates
the wealth of talent to be found within the South Wests design and
production community."

Silver medal awarded in US design competition
FOX DESIGN CONSULTANTS has won a silver medal in an American design competition, Neenah Paper's Paperworks Letterhead Design Contest. Fox received this distinguished award for the ability to combine paper, design and printing for an effective result.
Fox Design Consultants submitted the design for the Personality Assessment Consultants, which offers graphology (the study of handwriting) and psychometric testing, controversial methods of testing candidates' suitability for posts. The design fetures handwriting - appropriately.
The Neenah Paperworks Contest was created more than 25 years ago to reward merchants, designers and printers for recognising the value of quality in the communication process. |
